Love And Theft readies for debut week

Thursday, August 20, 2009 – Love And Theft are getting ready with a media blitz for the release of its debut disc, "World Wide Open," on Aug. 15.

Love And Theft's Brian Bandas, Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles are kicking off next week with a performance at a radio station show in Atlanta Sunday night after which they'll back to Nashville to rise early Monday morning for the first of four consecutive daily satellite radio tours. Fans will be able to tune into their local country radio stations to catch Love And Theft live on-air but they can also visit the station's website and AOL's The Boot for a live video stream of the radio tours as the interviews are taking place.

The rest of the week includes a visit to Sirius XM's Music Row Happy Hour along with more satellite radio tours, radio station visits and concert appearances in Houston on Aug. 26, Dallas on Aug. 27, Phoenix on Aug. 28 and Las Vegas on Aug. 29.

In addition to their performance tomorrow of their Top 20 hit single Runaway on NBC's Today Show, Love And Theft can also be seen on CMT Insider and the network's Top 20 countdown along with GAC's Headline Country and On The Streets. Love And Theft created an exclusive website for its first record -

"It feels like we've been waiting our whole lives for this moment and now it's finally here, " said Liles. "I can't even begin to explain how excited we are for the release of our first CD. It's gonna be a busy week but we are beyond ready."

After opening shows for Taylor Swift in 2008, Love And Theft is currently on the road playing shows.

There's more than that going on though. Gunderson and Liles both sing well, trading leads and harmonizing often with each other (If You ...

All three members of Love and Theft - Brian Bandas, Eric Gunderson, and Stephen Barker Liles - share the vocal duties, acting as each other's backups and plugging in harmonies (think early Eagles) wherever possible. In the wake of a tour opening for Taylor Swift, the pin-up gents from everywhere (Austin by way of Charlotte and Clearwater, Fla.) now venture forth with their debut to the eager ...
