Otto teams up with ACC for football

Friday, September 11, 2009 – James Otto and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that they will utilize Otto's Ain't Gonna Stop for promotions during the 2009 ACC Football Season. The ACC and James Otto will work together to deliver a promotion entitled "Ain't Gonna Stop on the Road to Tampa Bay" that will run through Nov. 22 and will offer prizes and experiences focused around the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship in Tampa, Fla. on Dec. 5.

The song, a fast-paced, hard-charging single from Otto's CD, "Sunset Man," will be used as the soundtrack on a series of promotional videos featuring ACC Football highlights and Otto in concert. The videos will be presented in weekly episodes on multiple platforms throughout the season including http://www.theacc.com/, http://www.theroadtotampabay.com/, http://www.representacc.com/, http://www.sportingnewstoday.com/ and http://www.jamesotto.net/. The video will also be featured on commercials during televised ACC football games, and Raycom Sports, the ACC's television partner, will feature a special video set to its weekly pre-game show, "ACC Football Today."

Otto will give live concerts and make appearances throughout the ACC footprint this fall. The first of these appearances will take place at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday, Sept. 12 where Otto will sing the National Anthem prior to the Stanford-Wake Forest game, and the final performance of the campaign will take place at the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Dec. 5, where he will headline a pre-game concert at ACC FanFest in addition to singing the National Anthem just prior to the title game.

Fans can enter the "Ain't Gonna Stop on the Road to Tampa Bay" Sweepstakes which will provide the opportunity to win the following:
Grand Prize including a trip for two to the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game in Tampa. Prize includes airfare, two nights in headquarters hotel, two Club-Level tickets to the game, an exclusive tour of Raymond James Stadium, one I-Pod Nano with ACC and Otto content and one guitar autographed by James Otto.
12 First Place Prize winners will receive a special football autographed by the coaches participating in the championship game.
12 Second Place Prize winners will receive an I-Pod Nano containing content from Otto and the ACC.
