Lady A premieres new video
Tuesday, September 15, 2009 – The music video for Lady Antebellum's brand new single Need You Now world premieres on YouTube today, becoming the first country music video to debut in the popular site's Featured Video section. The video was directed by David McClister and shot in Toronto in late August.
"We really wanted this video to be a little more dramatic and stylized than anything we've done before," said lead vocalist Hillary Scott. "It was an exhausting shoot...physically and emotionally...because we worked through the night and just poured every ounce of ourselves into our characters. It's a passionate song, and we wanted the video to be just as passionate."
The song is the fastest rising single of Lady Antebellum's career, cracking Billboard's Top 25 in a very fast 4 weeks. Lady A is currently touring Canada with superstar Keith Urban.

Six albums into its career, Lady Antebellum pretty much has the formula down pat. Either Hillary Scott or long and lanky Charles Kelley assumes lead vocals with Dave Haywood also providing vocals plus guitars and mandolin in a bunch of songs easy on the ears with a story often involving a lust for love.
