Garth Brooks sells out
Sunday, October 25, 2009 – Garth Brooks' return to performing is a hot ticket.
Tickets for Brooks' first 20 shows at the Wynn Las Vegas resort sold out in less than 5 hours. The resort said Saturday it had almost 142,000 callers with a web site for tickets attracting 5.4 million page views.
Brooks announced he was coming out of retirement about 10 days ago to play shows at the Las Vegas casino. He will do 15 weeks of shows per year on Fridays through Sundays at a theatre holding about 1,500 people. Tickets were priced at $125.
The shows start Dec. 11.
