Chesney goes to the movies
Monday, November 9, 2009 – Kenny Chesney isn't launching a full-scale tour in 2010, but he is bringing his concert experience to the movies starting in April 2010. "Kenny Chesney: Summer In 3-D" was filmed by 22 3-D cameras over 6 nights of his Sun City Carnival tour this past summer.
"It's crazy how up close this puts you," Chesney said. "It was an amazing and at times scary experience to have cameras that close, in the air, on a blimp, because they are everywhere. But to see what this film captures...all I can says is, 'Wow.'"
The movie was filed in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Seattle, Boston and Indianapolis.
