Messina performs at Rockefeller Center
The hour-long program, airing at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific, features Rod Stewart, Rob Thomas, The Muppets, Michael Buble, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Barry Manilow, The Roots and Shakira.
Messina will perform Sleigh Ride and Let It Snow.
Messina will continue sharing the holiday spirit on Saturday, Dec. 5, back home in Nashville, where she will perform two free shows at 4 p.m and 7 p.m. at the Brentwood United Methodist Church where fans are being asked to make donations to Harvest Hands Community Development Corporation (CDC), a non-profit, faith-based organization in South Nashville (http://www.harvesthandscdc.com/).
Messina will release a new single, That's God, in January 2010 in advance of her first album in five years, "Unmistakable," due in the spring on Curb. Messina co-produced the album.
