Lady Antebellum plays the Ryman
Friday, January 8, 2010 – Lady Antebellum announced today their first headlining concert at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, March 11. Tickets go on sale Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. Central at the Ryman box office on ryman.com and through all Ticketmaster locations.
"Playing the Ryman has been at the top of our list of goals since we first got together to write songs...and I mean, it's a big one," said Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. "The history of that building and the Grand Ole Opry and all the icons and legends who have played there over time is untouchable...we hold all of that history really close. We're going to mix things up and do everything we can to make our first show there unforgettable."
Lady Antebellum recently celebrated the longest chart-topper of 2009 with the lead and title track Need You Now off their Jan. 26 release, which spent five consecutive weeks at number 1.
