Trace Adkins rings up gold

Wednesday, February 7, 2007 – Trace Adkins received his first gold certification for master ringtone sales in excess of 500,000 for his big hit single "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." In 2005, Adkins' "Songs About Me" CD, which has the song, went double platinum for sales of more than 2 million. There have been more than 570,000 ringtone purchases of "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."
