Lady A, Reba, Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Urban play CMA Music Fest

– Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band are the first artists of 2010 to perform at CMA Music Festival.
Carrie Underwood previously announced she would sing at the fest, being held in Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13.
The artists participate for free, and in appreciation, CMA donates half the net proceeds of the festival to support music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools through the Keep the Music Playing program. To date, $3,312,053 has been donated to purchase musical instruments and supplies.

Concert Review: White makes the case for himself, no matter how dark the music
John Paul White opined with a glint in his eyes that his songs were not of the uplifting variety. In fact, they were downright dark. How else to explain "The Long Way" with the line "long way home back to you." Or "James," a song inspired by his grandfather who suffered from dementia.
