Underwood, Bryan play ball

Friday, February 26, 2010 – Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan will return to Nashville's Greer Stadium to bat for City of Hope at the 20th Anniversary Nashville Celebrity Softball Challenge Monday, June 7, 2010.

Rival teams Grand Ole Opry Live and After MidNite with Blair Garner will challenge each other in an evening of softball stunts and pranks. Tickets are available now for $20 per person or $60 for a "Family Four Pack" at www.cityofhope.org/softballtickets or by calling Ticketmaster at 615-255-9600. All ticket sales will be donated to City of Hope.

The City of Hope is a cancer research, treatment and education center. The Celebrity Softball Challenge in Nashville is the unofficial kickoff to the four-day CMA Music Fest, which began in 1972

An online auction of exclusive autographed memorabilia will be posted after the game at www.auctionsforhope.org.

"Game day is always packed with excitement and anticipation, knowing that everyone is coming together to support City of Hope's lifesaving research and treatment programs," said Blair Garner, creator, After MidNite with Blair Garner. "This year, After MidNite is back in the game and ready to take on Grand Ole Opry like we have never before."
