Lambert excited about six ACM nominations
Tuesday, March 2, 2010 – Miranda Lambert had a big day Tuesday, scoring six Academy of Country Music nominations including Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Revolution" and Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year (awarded to composer/artist/publisher) and Video of the Year for White Liar.
"It's always a great surprise and thrill to get any kind of nomination - but six ACMs," she said. "Having Blake (Shelton) along with the amazing Reba say my name three times on the CBS Early Show this morning was so cool. I just happened to be in New York with some of the ACM executives when they told me I had six nominations including Album of the Year again. It's unbelievable, and I can't thank the country music industry and ACM voters enough for believing in what I do."
