Montgomery Gentry host bike rally
Monday, February 26, 2007 – Montgomery Gentry will host the Academy of Country Music Celebrity Motorcycle Ride to be held May 13 in Las Vegas. After the ride, a concert will feature past and present ACM nominees.
"I love that this is me and Troy's fourth year to host this event," said Eddie Montgomery. "It's something I look forward to every year - watching it grow and attract new people each time and raise more money for the ACM Charitable Fund. The fund is unbelievable with what all they have been able to do, and I'm happy to be a part of it."
The ride started with about 100 bikes and now has more than 1,500. The fund promotes and supports music education and humanitarian programs.
The 42nd annual ACM ceremony will be held May 15.
