Academy of Country Music awards on display tonight

Sunday, April 18, 2010 – Lady Antebellum received the most nominations with seven for the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards being held tonight, but will they be able to cash in?

Other folks named Chesney, Lambert, Underwood, and, oh yeah, Swift will see how many trophies they can take home.

Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood received five nominations, Taylor Swift five and Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band four apiece. Zac Brown received two nominations himself.

The ACM/Home Depot Humanitarian Award will be given to Montgomery Gentry for their ongoing community service and charitable giving of their time and talent.

Fan voting for Top New Artist will close at 5 p.m. Pacific on April 18 (before the live show starts) and fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during the third hour of the live broadcast.

Reba McEntire will host the show for the 12th time.
