Lady A enjoys second best selling CD
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 – Lady Antebellum had the only country album in the Billboard top 10, but the power of Glee reigned.
Lady A was up one to second with "Need You Now" selling 83,000 units, up 65,000 from the previous week. The show Glee was first with "The Power of Madonna" selling 98,000 units.
Lady Antebellum's 27-percent gain was probably due to their showing on the Academy of Country Music awards where they won a total of five awards. The Billboard chart officially comes out Thursday.
