Lambert to head CMT fall tour with Church, Kelley
Along with Eric Church and Josh Kelley, the concert name is CMT on Tour: Miranda Lambert Revolution. No tour dates were announced.
The tour kicks off in New York on Sept. 29. Produced by AEG Live, previous CMT tours have featured Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Keith Urban.
"Having that Texas club circuit experience at an early age and also touring with some of the best in the business for several years, I know what it takes to bring it every night and give fans more than their money's worth," said Lambert. "The CMT tour is a great way for me to thank fans for their support this year and show them I can live up to the honors."
Church added, "I'm very excited to be on what I believe will be one of the best tours going out this fall. I've been on a lot of tours, and this one is gonna be the heat. I love what Miranda does, and we are gonna take the stage every night locked and cocked. The crowd better be ready for it, 'cause we are."
Kelley is a newcomer to the country end, having been more thought of as a singer/songwriter type. He is the brother of Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum.
