Vincent sets release for indie CD
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 – Rhonda Vincent will release "Taken," her first project on the Upper Management imprint on Sept. 21 after spending much of her career on Rounder.
The new disc features Vincent's touring band the Rage alongside Dolly Parton, Richard Marx, Little Roy Lewis, and Vincent's own daughters, the singing duo Next Best Thing.
The bluegrass star is in the midst of an 11-month tour.

Rhonda Vincent has been a solid voice of bluegrass music since the 1970's. She first performed with a family band (The Sally Mountain Show), before going solo. Her career took a country turn for a few years, but she's mostly a bluegrass artist these days, and bluegrass is the beneficiary.
