Montana debuts at Opry
Thursday, July 29, 2010 – Randy Montana made his Grand Ole Opry debut last Friday at Nashville's Ryman auditorium. Montana included his Top 40 debut single Ain't Much Left Of Lovin' You in his set.
"Playing the Opry was amazing. During the first verse of the single, the crowd started clapping, which has never happened before, so I was thinking to myself 'Oh gosh, something's going wrong'." "Thankfully everything was okay. I guess the crowd was just enjoying the song," Montana joked. "The overall experience was a really cool thing to be a part of."
Montana contributed his version of Tuesday's Gone on the newly-released "Sweet Home Alabama: The Country Music Tribute To Lynyrd Skynyrd" album, which pays homage to the Southern rockers and is available now exclusively at Wal-mart.

CD reviews for Randy Montana
Randy Montana didn't have to go far from home to learn how to craft a song. His father is Nashville songwriter Billy Montana, who has written hits for the likes of Garth Brooks and Sara Evans. It seems his father taught him well; his debut album is full of radio-friendly, guitar-driven country. Montana's got a raspy, rough-edged voice, and the characters he writes match it well.
Ain't Much Left of Lovin' You was released last year and inched into the Top 40. ...
