Armiger visits Early Show Saturday

Wednesday, October 6, 2010 – Katie Armiger will perform on CBS News' The Early Show On Saturday on Oct. 9 in support of her latest album "Confessions of a Nice Girl."

Armiger will perform an acoustic version of one of John Lennon's hits as a special tribute to him on what would have been his 70th birthday. Fans can tune in at 8:40 a.m. Eastern for Armiger's tribute and a performance of a song off the CD.

"I cannot wait to perform new music for everyone," she said. "I am beyond excited and honored to have been asked to help The Early Show On Saturday pay tribute to John Lennon who was and continues to be such a musical inspiration and icon."

The CD features nine tracks that Armiger co-wrote with Nashville songwriters including Blair Daly, Bruce Wallace, Sarah Buxton and Rebecca Lynn Howard.
