The Hag resumes touring after illness
Tuesday, November 9, 2010 – Merle Haggard returned the road late last week after being off since August with a chest infection.
Haggard was forced to cancel 10 shows in September and October due to his infection. He resumed touring last Thursday with a show in New Braunfels, Texas, followed by shows in Fort Worth Texas, Lake Charles, La. and Katy, Texas on Sunday. The Hag plays tonight in El Dorado, Ark.
Four other dates remain on Haggard's 2010 schedule:
Nov. 10 - Fayetteville, Ark.
Nov. 11 - Salina, Kansas
Nov. 12 - Duran Okla.
Nov. 13 - Shawnee, Okla.
Haggard then returns to the road in late January 2011 with shows on his web site listed into early March.
