Lambert wins CMA for song of the year
Wednesday, November 10, 2010 – Miranda Lambert scored a CMA award Wednesday with "The House That Built Me" for Song of the Year.
"I want to thank you guys so mcuh for writing a beautiful song," said Lambert.
The award also went to songwriters Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin. Shamblin mentioned in his comments that they were fortunate because Blake Shelton, Lambert's fiance, could have had the song, but decided to give it up to Lambert.

White Liar (Lambert, Songwriters: Miranda Lambert and Natalie Hemby)
