Adkins visits Fox

Wednesday, November 17, 2010 – Trace Adkins will appear as a special guest on Fox & Friends (Fox News). The show will broadcast a live segment from the newly refurbished Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center as part of the hotel's reopening celebration. The hotel was closed until this week due to the May floods.

Later that evening, Adkins will co-headline the "Greater Together Nashville" fundraising concert with Craig Morgan. The concert, hosted by The Gaylord Entertainment Foundation, will benefit local nonprofit agencies, Hands On Nashville, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. Tickets are available only through those outlets and will serve as a direct contribution to that organization.

Adkins is also scheduled to appear Thursday at 8 p.m. eastern/7 p.m. central as a featured guest on "Freedom Watch" where he'll talk to host, Judge Andrew Napolitano, about events of the day and his recent USO Tour.

Thankfully, "Something's Going On" is a better than average collection of songs, especially good for Adkins, as ...
CD review - Live Country DVD "Live Country" is a concert film featuring Trace Adkins performing his biggest hits at The Paramount in Huntington, N.Y. Anticipation was high for this one because Adkins, along with Josh Turner, is one of our very best low-voiced singers. Perhaps poor audio quality is to blame, but Adkins' singing isn't nearly as powerful in this live setting as it is on CD. From the cheesy stage props to the casually dressed backing singers (one even has a headband that leaves her looking ...
