Charlie Daniels releases book about country music

Monday, April 2, 2007 – Charlie Daniels is releasing his book "Growing Up Country: What Makes Country Life Country" Tuesday. Daniels will appear on the nationally televised Fox News TV shows Hannity & Colmes on April 3 and Fox & Friends on April 4 and will be talking with national radio hosts Alan Colmes, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Brian & The Judge, Jim Breuer and Andrew Wilkow.

The DoubleDay-Flying Dolphin Press hardcover release features a collection of essays from an all-star roster of country greats. Featuring contributors ranging from music stars to NASCAR drivers and former Presidents to contemporary kings of the rodeo circuit, the book offers readers a uniquely personal glimpse into the lives of their favorite stars including Kix Brooks, Sara Evans, Dolly Parton, Gary Rossington, Ty Murray, Dobie Gray, Janie Fricke, Toby Keith, Dickey Lee, Lee Greenwood, President Jimmy Carter, Brenda Lee, Barbara Mandrell, Clint Black, Aaron Tippin, Carrie Underwood, Troy Gentry, Eddie Montgomery, Darrell Waltrip and more.
