Lambert wins Grammy for female vocal performance
Sunday, February 13, 2011 – Miranda Lambert won the Grammy for Beset Female Vocal Performance Sunay for The House That Built Me.
Lambert accepted the award from Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown. "First Grammy perfomrance ever. First Grammy ever," Lambert said. "Thank you so much for loving the lyrics to this song. It means the world to me. Everyone can relate to it."
Others nominated included Jewel, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson and LeAnn Rimes.
