Morgan rescues family in house fire
Monday, February 14, 2011 – Craig Morgan was looking for a quiet Sunday afternoon at his home in Dickson, Tenn. after returning from a string of tour dates. That was until Morgan saw a house fire and sprung into action.
Putting his skills as a former EMT and assistant deputy sheriff to work, Morgan "raced to the scene and into the smoke-filled house to rescue two young children still inside," according to his web site. "When the fire trucks arrived, the firefighters handed Morgan a hose to help dampen the flames."
"Thanks to the singer's quick reaction, the home suffered relatively minor damage, and everyone inside made it to safety," Morgan's web site said.
