Underwood co-hosts Opry weekend special in March

Monday, February 14, 2011 – Carrie Underwood will co-host the America's Opry Weekend New Faces of Country Special the weekend of March 5.

Underwood made her Grand Ole Opry debut six years ago less than two weeks after winning the fourth season of "American Idol." Underwood will share her story and play the music of some of the new voices on the Opry stage and on the country charts throughout the special.

Among the artists and songs listeners will hear are Undo It, Underwood; If I Die Young, The Band Perry; I'm A Little More Country Than That, Easton Corbin; Smoke A Little Smoke, Eric Church; Boots On, Randy Houser and Someone Else Calling You Baby," Luke Bryan.
