Aldean parties into summer

Tuesday, March 8, 2011 – Jason Aldean will extend his 2011 My Kinda Party tour into the summer, with special guests Chris Young and Thompson Square. After selling more than 154,000 thousand tickets to the first leg's 14 dates so far, the tour will pick up on July 8 in Milwaukee with more shows to be announced over the coming weeks.

"Feels like this first leg just got started...we're only warming up," said Aldean. "It'll be nice to stop in some places we haven't been since the new record came out. I'm really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us too. Both are on a roll right now, so it'll be a great time."

Lexington, Ky.'s Rupp Arena hosted Aldean Saturday night for its biggest crowd in more than 6 years and Aldean's biggest career headlining show with more than 18,000 fans.
