Lorrie Morgan inks record deal

Thursday, May 12, 2011 – Lorrie Morgan signed with ANR Records, a Nashville label.

"We are thrilled to add Lorrie to our roster and look forward to doing many projects with her," he said. Morgan joins the Christian rock band Petra on the ANR roster.

Morgan has had 14 top 10 hits and 12 albums (7 of which have gone gold and platinum) during her career. Most of her success came with the RCA label group.

Lorrie Morgan's career may have enjoyed a higher profile, but that shouldn't be because of albums like this. The sexy blonde generally hits the mark. What sets Morgan apart and always has is her singing ability. She got strong pipes time and again and uses them to good effect throughout.
