Aldean tops country chart
Wednesday, June 22, 2011 – Jason Aldean will have the top selling country disc in the U.S. when the Billboard chart is released Thursday. "My Kinda Party" was first with 51,000 units sold, up 26 percent. That was also good for fifth on the overall chart.
Bad Meets Evil, the hip-hop duo of Eminem and Royce da 5'9", was first on the Billboard 200 with "Hell: the Sequel" selling 171,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Brad Paisley's "This is Country Music" was second on the country chart and ninth overall, selling 35,000 units, down 8 percent.

Jason Aldean's 10th studio album "Georgia "initially seems like yeoman's effort. As the second half of a double album that follows last year's "Macon," the collection boasts 30 songs; 20 are new.
