Bryan certifiably gold
Monday, June 27, 2011 – Luke Bryan's current single, Country Girl (Shake It For Me), was certified Gold by the RIAA. The up-tempo Top 10 hit is the lead single off Bryan's "Tailgates and Tanlines" album due out on Aug. 9.
Co-written with Dallas Davidson, the song is Bryan's third Gold-certified single. The song debuted at number 1 in U.S. country digital singles sales with 105,498 downloads and is the fastest rising single of his career. It follows recent three back-to-back number one singles Do I, Rain Is A Good Thing and Someone Else Calling You Baby, from his Gold-certified album "Doin' My Thing."
Bryan is on tour this summer with Tim McGraw's "Emotional Traffic Tour," headline his own tour - "CMT ON TOUR: Luke Bryan Tailgates & Tanlines" launching this fall.

If there's one thing Luke Bryan knows how to do, it's to stay in his lane. And why not? It often leads to great chart position. The Deluxe edition of his seventh album "Born Here, Live Here, Die Here" was born out of the pandemic tour stoppage. It includes six new songs and increases the run time to 54 minutes.
