Church continues with best selling country CD

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 – Adele reclaimed the title of top selling CD in the U.S. with "21," meaning that Eric Church's "Chief" was knocked out of the top spot. The CD sold 53,000 units, down 63 percent, but still good for second overall. Trace Adkins was third on the overall chart with "Proud to Be Here," selling 47,000 units.

Jason Aldean was sixth with "My Kinda Party," up 2, selling 41,000 units, down 1 percent. Black Shelton was in 10th with "Red River Blues," selling 26,000 units, down17 percent. The official charts are out Thursday.
