Aldean parties into 2012

Thursday, October 6, 2011 – Jason Aldean announced today that he is extending his My Kinda Party tour into 2012. Fellow Georgia native Luke Bryan will join as special guest.

The only date announced thus far - Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Feb. 24 - sold out in just minutes.

"I never want this year to end," said Aldean. "This has been the best year of my career, and our shows just keep getting bigger and better, so we're just going to take the party on into the new year. Luke and I are really good friends...we hang out on our off days, we hunt and fish together, and we love to play music to our fans. It's gonna be a blast."

The new leg will begin in January with specific dates to be announced.

Cities on the tour include: Cedar Falls, IA, Champaign, IL, Charlottesville, VA, Dayton, OH, East Rutherford, NJ, Fayetteville, NC, Green Bay, WI, Greenville, SC, Huntsville, AL, Jonesboro, AR, Kansas City, MO, Oklahoma City, OK, Orlando, St. Paul, MN, Tupelo, MS and Wichita, KS.

Ironically, amid the torrid tempos and high volume that dominate the collection, the ballads are the standouts, especially with the duet with the Miranda Lambert on "Drowns The Whiskey." Instead of whiskey drowning a memory, the inverse ...
