Gill stages benefit to help those with AIDS

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 – Vince Gill will stage a benefit concert in New York in late October to benefit a bookstore that helps those with AIDS.

Live From Home with Vince Gill will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Housing Works Bookstore Café. Tickets are $50 tickets guaranteeing admission but not seating. Reserved seats are $75.

Gill will release a new disc, "Guitar Slinger," on Oct. 24.

The bookstore is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and all profits go to Housing Works, Inc., which provides housing, health care, job training, and advocacy for New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.
