Gill, Grant get in the holiday mood

Wednesday, November 2, 2011 – Amy Grant and Vince Gill will embark on their sixth Christmas tour. The Twelve Days Of Christmas - Amy Grant & Vince Gill kicks off Dec. 7 in Baltimore and wraps with two shows in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium justy before the holiday.

"Christmas audiences are special," said Grant. "They tend to involve the whole family, and their emotions are a wonderful mix of anticipation and reverence. It's a thrilling experience for both of us."

"These holiday tours have become our favorites," Gill said.

In their two hour program, the husband-and-wife team will present standards and newer seasonal fare.

Gill boasts three Christmas albums of his own: "Let There Be Peace On Earth," "Breath Of Heaven" and "Christmas Collection."

CD review - These Days To put this release into perspective, it would take Axl Rose the better half of a century to issue the same amount of material. Fortunately, Vince Gill is about as prolific as they come these days, and this daring four-disc release only is further proof of that. Each disc is divvied up depending on his mood, with the opening "Working On A Big Chill" album being "The Rockin' Record."
