Lady Antebellum to top country chart again
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 – Lady Antebellum will top the Billboard Country Album chart when it is released Thursday with "Own the Night." The trio's latest sold 110,000 units, up 36 percent from the previous week.
The release was the sixth best selling disc in the U.S. for the week ending Dec. 25, down one from the previous week. Lady Antebellum had the only country release in the top 10.
Taylor Swift's Safe & Sound, featuring The Civil Wars, was the highest debuting song on the Digital Songs track, at 19, with 136,000 downloads. The song was released on Dec. 23 and is the title track from the movie soundtrack.
