Lady Antebellum to top country chart
Wednesday, January 4, 2012 – Lady Antebellum once again had the biggest selling country release in the U.S. with "Own the Night." The band's third album was the fourth highest selling disc in the U.S. in any genre with 54,000 units, down 51 percent.
Lady A was helped by a big discount at the iTunes store last week with the disc selling at $6.99 and heavily promoted. "Own the Night" jumped a whopping 377 percent as a digital download.
Adele once again has the number one disc in the land with "21," which sold 144,000 units last week, down 64 percent.
The charts will be released on Thursday.
