Gill joins MerleFest line-up

Monday, January 9, 2012 – Vince Gill was added to the MerleFest 25 lineup, it was announced today.

Gill will perform on Thursday, April 26, delivering the closing performance of the evening. Gill released his latest disc, "Guitar Slinger," in October 2011.

MerleFest 25 is slated for April 26 - 29 on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, N.C. MerleFest is an annual homecoming of musicians and music fans, gathering to celebrate the memory of musician Eddy Merle Watson, beloved son of American music icon Doc Watson.
