Swift, Aldean to perform at Grammys
Thursday, January 12, 2012 – Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean were the first country performers announced to perform at the 54th annual Grammy Awards next month.
The two will join Kelly Clarkson, who has some country history, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj to perform. This marks Aldean's first time performing at the Grammys.
Aldean and Swift are up for three awards each. Aldean has nominations for Best Country Solo Performance for "Dirt Road Anthem," Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Don't You Wanna Stay with Clarkson and Best Country Album for My Kinda Party. Four-time Grammy winner Swift has nods for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for Mean and Best Country Album for "Speak Now."
The Grammys are Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angelees at 8 p.m.

Jason Aldean's 10th studio album "Georgia "initially seems like yeoman's effort. As the second half of a double album that follows last year's "Macon," the collection boasts 30 songs; 20 are new.
