StubHub anoints Swift as top '11 tour
Thursday, February 9, 2012 – Taylor Swift had the top tour of 2011, according to StubHub, the ticket seller. Swift's Speak now Tour outsold the final leg of U2's 360 Tour. U2 was second on the list.
Kenny Chesney had the fourth most popular tour of 2011 based on gross ticket sales, one behind Lady Gaga.
Chesney had the ninth biggest grossing concert of 2011 with Zac Brown Band at Gillette Stadium on Aug. 27 in Foxboro, Mass. Swift was 10th with an Aug. 6 gig at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
While still early in 2012, based on gross ticket sales, Jason Aldean at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was the fourth top selling music even. Both weekends of Coachella festival in Indio, Cal. were one-two with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Los Angeles third.
