Swift scores two Grammys
Swift wrote the song in response to a critic. Swift joked in winning the song award, "There's really no feeling quite like writing a song about someone who's completely mean to you and completely hates you and then winning a Grammy for it."
Swift won the song honor over Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not by Jim Collins and Dave Lee Murphy; God Gave Me You by Dave Barnes; Just Fishin' by Casey Beathard, Monty Criswell & Ed Hill; Threaten Me With Heaven by Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Will Owsley & Dillon O'Brian; and You and Tequila By Matraca Berg and Deana Carter.
Swift took the Country Solo Performance award over Dirt Road Anthem by Jason Aldean; I'm Gonna Love You Through It by Martina McBride; Honey Bee by Blake Shelton; Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood.
