Morgan enjoys career best

Wednesday, March 7, 2012 – Craig Morgan had a career best week with his new CD "This Ole Boy." The disc moved more than 12,000 units in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The Top 5 debut on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart represents Morgan's highest chart debut in his career and best opening week numbers since 2006's "Little Bit Of Life."

"This Ole Boy" is Morgan's first new music in three years and debut release on Black River Entertainment. Co-produced with his longtime creative partner Phil O'Donnell, Morgan co-wrote 7of the 12 songs.

Next up for Morgan is a March 8 appearance on syndicated program Better TV. Morgan will make his acting debut on Lifetime's hit drama "Army Wives," airing March 18 at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
