Aldean breaks Houston record
Friday, March 16, 2012 – The RodeoHouston attendance record did not last very long - a mere four days in fact. Or make that until Hurricane Aldean rolled into town.
Aldean broke the all-time paid attendance record with 74,901 fans at Reliant Stadium last night. The previous record was set on March 11 when 74,588 fans saw the March 11 Go Tejano Day performance featuring La Original Banda El Limon and Duelo. The Band Perry is third with 74,241 on March 14 with Pesado and El Trono de Mexico fourth with 74,222 on March 14, 2010.

Jason Aldean's 10th studio album "Georgia "initially seems like yeoman's effort. As the second half of a double album that follows last year's "Macon," the collection boasts 30 songs; 20 are new. It is a more than a respectable length for a single album. The remainder of the effort is padded with live tracks. The obvious question is why so long?
