Lambert takes ACM Album of the Year
Sunday, April 1, 2012 – Miranda Lambert won the Academy of Country Music Album of the year with "Four the Record."
"Seriously?" said Lambert as she got on stage. She said she bought each ofthe other four CDs nominated for the award. " \I've been listening to every record in this category, and I thought man, I'm not going to get it," said Lambert before thanking everyone. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it y'all."
Others nominated were Eric Church's "Chief," Chesney's "Hemingway's Whiskey," Aldean's "My Kinda Party" and Lady Antebellum's "Own the Night."
