Owen plays once-in-a-lifetime gig (and his girlfriend is happy)
While playing in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla. in front of 5,500 family, friends and fans, Owen proposed to his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan during the performance of his hit song Don't Think I Can't Love You.
"Lacey is the answer to all of my prayers," Owen said. "She is an amazing person, and I'm the luckiest guy in the world."
"When I was on stage, it just hit me how many of our family members (Buchanan is also a Florida native) and friends were at the show," he said. "So, I thought sharing that moment would mean a lot to everyone."
"I'll be happy to talk to everyone after this week passes. Right now, I'm focusing on what is most important and that is spending some quality time with Lacey and our families."
No wedding date was announced. Owen was in Vero Beach to perform at his annual concert to give back to his hometown community.
