Covington tour bus involved in accident
Thursday, May 10, 2012 – Bucky Covington's tour bus was involved in an accident today on I-65 in Birmingham, Ala. while out for a run of tour dates.
Covington had already been dropped off for an earlier appearance that day and was not onboard at the time of the accident. "At this time, there appear to be no serious injuries in either vehicle although a few passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for further examination," his publicist said.
The bus sustained extensive damage to the front right side, but no details of the accident were provided.
Tonight's show and this weekend's dates in Germantown, Ill. (May 11) and Kenosha, Wisc. (May 12) will go on as scheduled.
