– Carrie Underwood's fourth album, "Blown Away," will be number 1 for the second consecutive week on Billboard's Top Country & all-genre 200 albums sales chart when it is released Thursday. This marks the first time since 2010 that a country artist has debuted at number 1 on Billboard's all-genre 200 albums sales chart for 2 back-to-back weeks.
"Blown Away" sold 120,000 copies, down 55 percent.
The CD also holds the number1 spot on Canada's Top 100 Country albums sales charts for the second straight week and is also the top selling digital album in Canada again this week.
Upon its release on May 1, "Blown Away" made history by debuting at number 1 on Billboard's Top Country albums sales chart making Underwood only the second country artist in the 47 year history of the chart to have each of their first 4 albums debut at the top. Debuting atop the Billboard 200 chart made Underwood the second country artist in history to have 3 consecutive albums debut at number 1. "Blown Away" became country's best-selling digital album debut since 2010.
Lionel Richie's "Tuskegee" also jumped from 6 to 3 on the overall chart with 71,000, up 11 percent. Luke Bryan was 10th with "tailgates & tanlines," selling 26,000; down 1 percent.
