Underwood captures two CMT awards

Thursday, June 7, 2012 – Carrie Underwood was the biggest winner Wednesday at the CMA Music Awards with two - for Best Video for Good Girl and Best Collaboration with Brad Paisley for Remind Me.

The show featured a number of live performances, including Kenny Chesney, Paisley with Hank Williams Jr., Pistol Annies, Eric Church, Willie Nelson with Jamey Johnson, Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith and Darius Rucker, Little Big Town and The Band Perry.

Paisley said, "I'd like to thank this beautiful woman for being in the video. Otherwise, it's just a dork walking through the desert." Underwood chided her husband, Mike Fisher, for giving Paisley a hug before congratulating her.

Other winners were Luke Bryan for Male Video of the Year for I Don't Want This Night to End, Miranda Lambert for Female Video of the Year for Over Year, Lady Antebellum for Group Video of the Year for We Owned the Night, Thompson Square for Duo Video of the Year for I Got You, Scotty McCreery for USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for The Trouble With Girls and Jason Aldean for CMT Performance of the Year for Tattoos on This Town (From CMT Artists of the Year).
