Richie's "Tuskegee" becomes second best selling CD

Wednesday, July 4, 2012 – Lionel Richie has the second best selling CD of the year thus far with "Tuskegge," his country-influenced disc. The disc has sold 912,000 units, second behind Adele's "21," which has sold 3.69 million units.

This was the first time the record industry only had one album sell a million units half-way through the year since SoundScan started 21 years ago
