Lambert cancels more shows

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 – More Miranda Lambert shows are being postponed because of vocal issues.

Lambert postponed this weekend's shows in Orange Beach, Ala., Atlanta and Pelham, Ala. to Oct. 4-6, respectively.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint the fans that have already bought tickets to see me," Lambert said in a statement. "I'm taking care of my voice, and I can't wait to get on the road again and bring you a hell of a show."

Last weekend, the singer had to bow out of shows in Varysburg, N.Y., and Scranton, Pa.

Today's object lesson comes from Miranda Lambert and her sophomore album, the follow-up to her 2005 near-platinum debut, "Kerosene." Imagine for a moment if the then-19-year-old had actually taken the crown in 2003's Nashville Star and then been forced into the studio within weeks to be primped and »»»
