RaeLynn signs deal

Friday, July 13, 2012 – RaeLynn, who appeared on the second season of The Voice, signed with Republic Nashville, a division of the Big Machine Label Group.

The Baytown, Texas native, 17, is writing and recording songs for her first album.

"Thank y'all for making my dream come true!! I'm so happy and excited and so pumped!!!!" she Tweeted earlier today.

On The Voice, she was part of Blake Shelton's team. She also has performed with Miranda Lambert. During the show, she sang Hell on Heels, the song of Lambert's side project Pistol Annies.
