Robison gives birth
Tuesday, September 4, 2012 – Emily Robison gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday.
Robison, a member of the Dixie Chicks and Court Yard Hounds, posted the news on the Hounds' Facebook page: "Emily Robison and Martin Strayer are ecstatic to announce the birth of their new baby girl, Violet Isabel Strayer. Violet was born at 3:01am on September 4, 2012 weighing 8.5 lbs. Mom and baby Violet are doing well and Dad couldn't be happier!"
Strayer is a guitarist and Robison's boyfriend. She was previously married to Charlie Robison with whom she has three children.
